This concept design creates a nature-focused glamping destination where the barnstyle pods are carefully integrated into the existing woodland and grassland setting. The landscape strategy emphasises the natural character of the site by retaining existing hedgerows and woodland, introducing native tree and understorey planting to enhance biodiversity, strengthen ecological connections and soften the visual impact of the development. The pods are positioned to maximise views towards the existing lake while maintaining privacy and a strong connection with the surrounding landscape. Natural materials, including limestone gravel, sandstone paths and timber decking, reinforce the rural character, while restored roadside planting, natural play areas and informal visitor spaces create a welcoming and sustainable environment where the landscape remains the defining feature of the glamping experience.
