The Crossmolina Town Centre First proposal sets out a shared vision for the future of the town, developed collaboratively by the Crossmolina Town Team, Mayo County Council, Ballina Municipal District, and a multidisciplinary design team. The strategy provides a long-term framework for regeneration, focusing on creating a vibrant, resilient, and connected town centre that reflects the needs of the community. Recognising Crossmolina's unique natural environment, rich archaeological heritage, and recent flooding challenges, the proposal promotes sustainable development that carefully balances environmental protection, heritage conservation, and community wellbeing. Through continued public engagement and phased implementation, the vision aims to guide future investment and create a stronger, more attractive town for residents, businesses, and visitors.
