Project Details:
The King Houset Gardens project presents a vision to restore and reimagine the historic landscape surrounding King House as a vibrant cultural and community destination. Drawing inspiration from the site's heritage, the proposal enhances the setting of the historic house through sensitively designed gardens, accessible pathways, biodiversity-rich planting and welcoming public spaces. A central circular stone seating feature creates a focal gathering space for relaxation, events and interpretation, strengthening the connection between visitors and the landscape. The concept balances heritage conservation with contemporary landscape design, creating an engaging environment for recreation, education and community use.
