The littlehampton seafront reimagines the waterfront as a vibrant, accessible and sustainable public destination that enhances recreation, biodiversity and community life. The proposal introduces improved public spaces, upgraded pedestrian connections, family-friendly play areas, an activity hub, market space and new visitor facilities to encourage longer visits and support the local economy. Extensive coastal planting, habitat creation and sustainable water management measures strengthen environmental resilience while enhancing biodiversity. Developed through a collaborative, community-led design process, the concept creates a welcoming and multifunctional seafront that responds to local needs and celebrates the unique coastal setting.
