LONGWALK DUNDALK URBAN REGENERATION PROJECT

1/2

Client: Louth County Council

Date: June 2025

Collaborators: LUC

Project Details:

The Long Walk Urban Regeneration Framework Plan presents a community-led vision to transform a key area of Dundalk town centre into a vibrant, connected and sustainable urban destination. Funded through the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF) and Louth County Council, the project focuses on improving the public realm, enhancing pedestrian connectivity, addressing vacancy and underutilised sites, and supporting mixed-use development that strengthens the vitality of the town centre. Guided by an extensive programme of stakeholder and community engagement, the framework responds directly to local priorities while providing a long-term strategy for creating safer, more attractive and resilient public spaces for residents, businesses and visitors.
